Process measures for improving mechanical processing productivity


First, the process measures that shorten the basic time. In a large number of production, because the basic time is large in the unit time, it can increase productivity by shortening the basic time. The main ways to shorten the basic time are the following:


1. Increase the amount of cutting, increase the cutting speed, the amount of feed, and the amount of back eating, can shorten the basic time. This is an effective method for improving productivity widely used in mechanical processing. However, the improvement of the amount of cutting is restricted by the durability of the tool, the power of the machine tool, and the rigidity of the process system. With the emergence of new types of tool materials, the cutting speed has been rapidly improved. At present, the cutting speed of the hard alloy car knife can reach 200m/min, and the cutting speed of the ceramic tool is 500m/min. In recent years, the cutting speed of polycrystalline artificial diamond and polycrystalline cubic boron nitride tool cutting ordinary steel has reached 900m/min. In terms of grinding, the trend of development in recent years is high -speed grinding and powerful grinding.


2. Use multi -knife cutting at the same time.


3. Multiple pieces of processing are to increase the productivity by reducing the cutting, cutting time or the combination of the basic time to reducing the cutting time of the tool. Multi -processing methods include the following three types: sequentially multiple pieces of processing, parallel processing, and parallel sequence of multiple pieces of processing.


4. Reduce the amount of processing. Adding precision casting, pressure casting, precision forging and other advanced processes to improve the accuracy of rough manufacturing, reduce the amount of mechanical processing, to shorten the basic time, and sometimes no need to perform mechanical processing, which can greatly improve production efficiency.

Second, shorten the auxiliary time. The auxiliary time also occupies a large proportion in a single time, especially after the large amount of cutting is significantly reduced, the basic time is significantly reduced, and the proportion of the auxiliary time is higher. At this time, taking measures to reduce the auxiliary time will become an important direction to improve productivity. There are two different ways to shorten the auxiliary time. One is to mechanize and automate the auxiliary movement, thereby directly reducing the auxiliary time; the other is to reunite the auxiliary time with the basic time and indirectly shorten the auxiliary time.
