What are the requirements for the material of precision parts?

Time:2023-04-10 Preview:

For precision parts processing materials are divided into two categories, metal materials and non -metallic materials. For metal materials, the hardness is the largest stainless steel, followed by cast iron, followed by copper, and finally aluminum. The processing of ceramics, plastic, etc. belongs to non -metal materials.

1. The first is the requirements for the hardness of the material. For some occasions, the higher the hardness is, the better, but it is limited to the hardness requirements of the processing parts. The processing materials should not be too hard.

2. Secondly, the material is moderate and moderate, at least one grade lower than the hardness of the machine. At the same time, it depends on what the effect of the processing device is used, and the material is reasonable to select the material.

In short, there are still some requirements for precision machinery processing. It is not suitable for processing. For example, too soft or too hard materials. The former is not necessary to process, and the latter cannot process.

Therefore, the most basic one is that before processing, you must pay attention to the density of the material. If the density is too high, it is equivalent to the high hardness. If the hardness exceeds the hardness of the parts (lathe -car knife), it cannot be processed. It will only damage the parts and cause danger, such as the car knife flying out to hurt people. Therefore, in general, for mechanical processing, the material must be lower than the hardness of the machine, so that it can be processed.
