Structure and characteristics of CNC machining

Time:2023-06-09 Preview:

In our daily lives, CNC machining technology may not be particularly common, but with the continuous development of society, CNC machining technology has always been widely used. Today, we will take you to understand some of the structures and characteristics of CNC machining technology.

Generally, there are three types of horizontal CNC machining centers commonly used for fixed column types. The column is fixed, and the spindle box moves in the Y direction, the workbench moves in the Z and X directions, and the spindle box moves in the Y and Z directions. The workbench also moves in the X direction; The spindle box moves in the Y and X directions, while the workbench moves in the Z direction; This is the fixed column horizontal machining center. CNC machining centers with this type of structure have the characteristics of good structural rigidity, high machining accuracy, and convenient installation and adjustment.

There are many types of horizontal machining centers with movable columns, including three types, all of which are movable columns. The workbench is fixed, the column moves in the X direction, and the side hanging of the spindle box moves in the Z and Y directions; The workbench moves in the Z direction, the column moves in the X direction, and the spindle box moves in the Y direction; The workbench moves in X direction, the column moves in Z direction, and the spindle box moves in Y direction; These three types are horizontal CNC machining centers with moving columns. The horizontal machining center for moving columns has high rigidity, large load capacity, and is suitable for heavy cutting and rough machining.
