Production and processing flow of small household appliances

Time:2022-11-21 Preview:

There is a general need to improve and innovate existing products. It seems that there is no room for new appliances. The general process is:

1、 Process

1. Conceive new products and analyze market demand.

Prepare data, parts lists, flow charts, and component usage reports.

3. Product appearance design, software design, hardware design, structural design, etc.

4. Mold development.

5. Sample verification and submission of test report.

6. Product packaging design.

7. Mass production.

8. Marketing sales.

2、 Introduction to Household Appliance Production

(1) Advantages in household appliances production

BOM Management: records the BOM of each product for easy viewing and modification. It is applicable to a product with multiple BOMs.

Realize just in time production: coordinate the processing and production of various parts and upstream and downstream processes, coordinate the material transfer between the warehouse and the workshop, maintain the synchronization of production and information in the manufacturing process, and achieve just in time production

Traceability: In case of quality problems, the reverse traceability from finished products to raw materials can be realized. Traceability includes process traceability and product BOM traceability.

Production performance analysis: real-time understanding of production efficiency indicators, rapid positioning of problems, and improvement

(2) Disadvantages in home appliance production

1. It is difficult to make plans for changes: small quantities of small household appliances are diversified, there are many emergency orders in peak seasons, and the production plan cannot keep up with changes. It is difficult to determine the specific delivery date due to many processing parts, processes and inconsistent processing cycles.

2. Inconsistency between material procurement and inventory: there are many parts and suppliers, and factories often need to purchase from different suppliers. Sometimes it is too late to record the purchase name and quantity clearly, the parts required for processing cannot be found, or the parts are misappropriated.

3. Inaccurate man hour statistics: the product is highly customized, and the standard man hour error is large. The work hour record is inaccurate and has large deviation, which ultimately leads to inaccurate employee performance.

4. The process management is not standardized: the production process of small appliances is complex, and even if the performance of the same product is different, the process will be different. Familiar operators and paper guides are not enough.
