Large CNC drills have achieved automation in drilling

Time:2023-12-15 Preview:

Numerical control is one of the commonly used machining techniques in the field of mechanical processing, which has advantages such as high quality, precision, and efficiency. At the same time, drilling machines are also transitioning towards numerical control. Large CNC drilling machines, like CNC machine tools, are divided into control systems and machine bodies, which are derived from ordinary drilling machines. Its advantage is to achieve automation of drilling.

Large scale CNC drilling machines are mainly due to the replacement of point control CNC systems by contour control CNC systems, which can perform milling with linear and circular interpolation functions, making them more suitable for joint drilling and milling of parts. According to the principle of tool changing and the structure of machine tools, drilling centers are currently divided into two types: single spindle and multi spindle. The multi spindle tool changing method involves arranging 6 or 8 main axes radially in the turret, and the turret rotates to achieve spindle conversion and automatic tool changing. Due to the fact that most small and medium-sized parts require several cutting tools to process (within 10 tools), adding an automatic tool changing device and automatically changing the spindle speed can reduce labor intensity. Reducing tool changing time not only improves the automation level of the machine tool, but also enhances labor productivity.

Large CNC drilling machine is a hole processing machine tool mainly used for drilling operations, which is digitally controlled. Currently, it is mainly used in parts processing operations with drilling as the main processing process, such as processing printed circuit boards. Therefore, there is still a significant demand in the market at present. For users, daily maintenance work should be done on the equipment to fully utilize its performance.

Precautions during use:

1. Usage environment: For equipment, it is better to place it in a constant temperature environment and away from equipment with high vibration (such as punching machines) and equipment with electromagnetic interference.

2. Power requirements;

3. Operating procedures: Regular maintenance and upkeep should be carried out, and any malfunctions should be recorded to protect the site;

4. It is not advisable to seal for a long time;

5. Pay attention to training and equipping operators, maintenance personnel, and programmers.

Maintenance of CNC system:

1. Strictly follow the operating procedures and daily maintenance system;

2. Prevent dust from entering the CNC device: Floating dust and metal powder can easily cause a decrease in insulation resistance between components, leading to faults and even damage to components;

3. Regularly clean the heat dissipation and ventilation system of the digital control cabinet;

4. Regularly monitor the grid voltage of the CNC system: the grid voltage range is between 85% and 110% of the rated value;

5. Regularly replace the battery for storage;

6. Maintenance of CNC system when not in use for a long time: Regularly power on the CNC system or run the warm program on large CNC drilling machines;

7. Maintenance of spare circuit boards.
