Analysis of external fault maintenance of CNC lathes processing CNC lathe system?

Time:2023-04-10 Preview:

When the CNC lathe is just put into use, when the system is restarted, it must be returned to the reference point. That is, when the axis is moved to the non -interference area manually, each shaft is returned to the reference point. Otherwise, a crash may occur. Therefore, after processing every day, it is best to move the axis of the machine to a safe position. There will be no problems after operation or power off at this time.

The failure caused by external hardware operation is a common failure in CNC repair. It is generally caused by problems with detection switches, hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, electrical execution elements, and mechanical devices. Some of these faults can find the cause of faults through alarm information. For general CNC systems, it has a fault diagnosis function or information alarm. Maintenance personnel can use this information to reduce the diagnostic scope. Although some faults have alarm information, they do not reflect the true cause of the fault. At this time, it is necessary to analyze the solution based on the alarm information and faults.

There are also some faults that do not cause troubleshooting information, but the movement cannot be completed.

Repair is important to find problems. Especially the external failure of CNC lathes. Sometimes the diagnostic process is more complicated, but once the problem is found, it is relatively simple to solve. The diagnosis of external faults shall comply with the following two principles. First of all, we must master the working principles and action order of the machine tool. Secondly, the PLC trapezoid is used. The status display function of the NC system or the operating status of the PLC of the external programmer monitor the PLC generally. Generally, as long as the above principles are followed, and carefully, the average CNC failure will be excluded in time.

The external failure can be divided into hard faults caused by soft faults and external hardware damage. Soft faults refer to inappropriate operations and adjustments. Such failures occur mostly during the early stage of equipment use or the adjustment period of equipment user adjustment. For the CNC system, another place that is susceptible to failure is the servo unit.
