Advantages, characteristics and applications of aluminum alloy pressure castings

Time:2023-03-15 Preview:

Aluminum pressure casting is a kind of pressure casting. It uses the pressure casting mechanical die -casting machine installed in the casting mold to pour the heated aluminum or aluminum alloy into the inlet port of the liquid. The parts or shapes and sizes of aluminum or aluminum alloy are limited in the mold. Such parts are usually called aluminum pressure casting.

This makes aluminum alloy die -casting more suitable for producing a variety of thin -walled casts with complicated structures. Products are widely used in industries such as aviation, aerospace, ships, building materials, household appliances, cars, instruments, instruments and other industries. So what are the advantages and advantages of aluminum alloy alloy die casting? Its advantages are mainly reflected in five aspects:

The aluminum alloy pressure casting has good filling performance, but due to the large contraction of the casting surface, it is easy to produce a large shrinkage phenomenon at the end of the solidification.

The thermal conductivity, conductivity, and cutting performance of aluminum alloy pressure castings are good.

The aluminum alloy die -casting is easy to stick to the mold. Generally, the mass score of the die -cast aluminum alloy iron is controlled within the range of 0.8%to 0.9%, which can reduce the phenomenon of sticky mold.

Aluminum alloy pressure castings have good corrosion resistance and antioxidant performance. Most aluminum alloy products have good corrosion resistance in freshwater, seawater, concentrated nitrochloride, gasoline and various organic matter.

The density of aluminum alloy compression castings, high strength, and the ratio of tensile strength to density is 9 ~ 15. Working at high temperature or low temperature can still maintain good mechanical properties.
