    1. The roller should have sufficient rigidity to ensure that the bending deformation does not exceed the allowable value under the light load effect.

    2. The surface of the roller needs to have sufficient strength, generally above HRC50 degrees, with strong corrosion resistance. The coating has anti-shedding ability to ensure that the surface of the roller has good wear resistance and corrosion resistance during operation.

    3. The surface of the roller should be carefully processed to ensure the specification precision and surface roughness. The surface roughness should be above Ra0.16, and there should be no air holes or grooves. The thickness of the surface of the roller should be uniform during the work, otherwise the temperature of the roller surface will be uneven, which will endanger the quality of the product.

    4. The raw materials of the rollers should have excellent heat transfer properties. Generally, chilled pig iron is used. In special cases, cast steel or molybdenum-chromium carbon steel is used. Whether it is heating or cooling, it can be quickly and evenly distributed.
