Aluminum:

The processing of hardware parts requires the use of materials for precision processing


Although the selection of materials for hardware parts processing is not very strict, it should not be sloppy. Good materials can not only ensure that the equipment will not be damaged too much, but also have good value in terms of the yield and accuracy of parts. If the purchased materials are not good, if the hardness of hard materials is too high and exceeds the hardness of the workpiece, the mechanical equipment may collapse and the workpiece will be affected. Therefore, these materials are not suitable for precision machining, unless they are made of special materials or laser cutting. So, what are the requirements for the use of materials in the processing of hardware parts?


Precision machining materials are divided into metal materials and non-metallic materials when machining hardware parts. For metallic materials, stainless steel is the hardest, followed by cast iron, copper and aluminum. The processing of ceramics and plastics belongs to the processing of non-metallic materials; The main requirements for hardware parts processing are as follows.


1. The first is the requirements for material hardness. For some occasions, the higher the hardness of materials, the better. However, it is only limited to the hardness of machine tool parts. The processed materials cannot be too hard. If they are harder than machine tool parts, they cannot be processed.


2. Secondly, the hardness of the material is moderate, at least one level lower than the hardness of the machine. It also depends on what the role of the processing device is to do, and the material of the machine should be selected reasonably.


In a word, the processing of precision machined hardware parts has certain requirements on materials, not what materials are suitable for processing, such as too soft or too hard materials, the former does not need to be processed, and the latter cannot be processed.


Therefore, attention must be paid to the density of materials before processing. If the density is too large, the hardness is also very large, and the hardness exceeds the hardness of the machine (lathe tool), it cannot be processed. It will not only damage parts, but also cause danger, such as turning tool flying out and hurting others. Therefore, generally speaking, for machining, the hardness of materials should be lower than that of machine tools before machining
