1、 Basic treatment
① Chemical degreasing
There are various oil stains on the surface of the object to be removed. If you paint without cleaning, it will have a harmful effect on the adhesion between the film and the coated object. In severe cases, the film will break. Therefore, all kinds of dirt on the surface of the coated object must be carefully removed before painting the hardware.
② Derusting
Metal corrosion products (rust, oxide skin), welding slag, sand, alkali spots and oxide skin are inorganic dirt. If the above dirt on the surface of the coated object is not removed before painting, it will not only affect the adhesion, appearance and resistance of the coating. It is corrosive, and rust will continue to spread under the paint film.
③ Phosphating
The phosphating film is porous, and the coating can penetrate into these pores to improve the adhesion of the coating. The phosphating film changes the metal surface from a good conductor to a bad conductor, inhibits the formation of micro batteries, and effectively prevents the corrosion of the coating.
④ Pronunciation
1. Speed up phosphating, refine phosphating crystallization and improve phosphating crystallization point.
2. Spraying method: ordinary spraying or electrostatic spraying.
3. Diluent: standard diluent or electrostatic diluent.
4. Dilution ratio: paint: thinner=1:0.8-1 (mass ratio).

2、 Key points of hardware spraying construction
1. Adjust the hardware spraying with thinner to the viscosity suitable for spraying, and measure with Tu-4 viscometer. The suitable viscosity is generally 20~30 seconds. If there is no viscometer for the time being, visual inspection can be used: use a stick (iron or wooden stick) to stir the hardware spray, stir it to 20cm high, and stop for observation. The line is too thick; If the line breaks as soon as it separates from the upper edge of the barrel, it is too thin; When it stops at a height of 20cm, the metal paint liquid is in a straight line, and the current is cut off instantly, showing a dripping shape. This viscosity is appropriate.
2. It is better to control the construction air pressure of hardware spraying at 0.3-0.4 MPa (3-4 kgf/cm2). The pressure is too small, the atomization of hardware paint is poor, and the surface is pitted; Excessive pressure is easy to flow and hang, and excessive paint mist not only wastes materials, but also affects the health of the operator.
3. The distance between the hardware nozzle and the object surface is generally 300-400mm. Too close, easy to droop; If it is too far away, the paint fog is uneven, and pits are easy to appear. Moreover, the paint fog flies away at the nozzle far away from the object surface, causing waste. The specific distance shall be adjusted according to the type, viscosity and air pressure of hardware spraying. The spraying distance of slow drying paint can be longer, and the spraying distance of fast drying paint can be shorter; It can be close when it is sticky, and can be far away when it is sticky; When the air pressure is high, the distance can be farther; when the air pressure is small, the air pressure can be closer. Closer and farther refers to a small range adjustment between 10mm and 50mm. If it exceeds this range, it is difficult to obtain an ideal paint film.
4. The hardware painting can be moved up, down, left and right at a speed of 10-12m/min. The nozzle should be sprayed straight on the object surface to minimize oblique spraying. When spraying at both ends of the object surface, the handle of the wrench should be loosened quickly to reduce friction. For the fog of hardware paint, the two ends of the object surface often need to be sprayed more than twice, which is the place most likely to cause sagging.
5. When spraying hardware, the next layer shall be pressed at 1/3 or 1/4 of the upper layer to avoid no leakage. When spraying quick drying paint, spray it once in sequence. The effect of spray is not ideal.
6. When spraying hardware in an open outdoor space, pay attention to the wind direction (do not work in strong wind). The operator shall stand in the downwind direction to prevent the paint mist from being blown to the sprayed paint film and causing unsightly granular surface.
7. The sequence of metal spraying and spraying is: first difficult, then easy, first inside, then outside. First high, then low, first small area, then large area. In this way, the sprayed paint mist will not splash on the sprayed paint film and damage the sprayed paint film.
