The basic requirements and characteristics of stamping hardware processing technology!

Time:2024-03-25 Preview:

The basic requirements and characteristics of stamping hardware processing technology are mainly reflected in the following aspects:

Basic requirements:

Die requirements are high: metal stamping parts in the design of the structural shape of the parts, it is best to use a simple and reasonable structure of the surface (such as plane, cylinder, spiral) and its combination, but also should try to minimize the number of processing surfaces and processing area. Mold manufacturing is more complex, so it is not suitable for small batch production.

Precision control: The processing cost of metal stamping parts will increase with the improvement of accuracy, especially in the case of high accuracy, this increase is extremely significant. Therefore, high precision should not be pursued without sufficient basis. Similarly, the surface roughness of metal stamping parts should also be adjusted appropriately according to the actual needs of the matching surface.

Material selection: Select a reasonable method of blank preparation in mechanical manufacturing, which can directly use profiles, casting, forging, stamping and welding. The choice of blank is related to the specific production technical conditions, and generally depends on the production batch, material properties and processing possibilities.

Features:

Cold stamping principle: The plastic deformation of metal at room temperature is used to separate or deform it through external force to obtain the required shape and precision of the parts. This method can obtain parts with complex shape, high precision, stable size and good interchangeability.

Material properties: In order to facilitate the stamping deformation and the improvement of the quality of the parts, the material should have good plasticity, small bending ratio, large plate thickness directivity coefficient, small plate plane directivity coefficient, and small ratio of the yield strength and elastic modulus of the material. For the separation process, it is not necessary for the material to have good plasticity, but it should have a certain plasticity.
