Selection of CNC equipment

Time:2024-01-09 Preview:

1Select according to the processed product

Each type of machining machine has its own typical parts for optimal machining, so different CNC machine tools should be selected according to the different parts being machined.

2Select according to the main parameters of the machine tool

1. Among all the parameters of the machine tool, the stroke of the coordinate axis is the main parameter. The most basic ones are the X, Y, and Z coordinate axes, and the travel of these three coordinate axes reflects the machining ability of the machine tool

2. The capacity of the tool magazine is also a major parameter of the machine tool. When selecting a machine tool, the required number of cutting tools should be determined based on the process analysis results of the processed parts. (Generally, there are around 24 vertical machines; there can be around 30-125 horizontal machines; it is more suitable to choose around 40 standard machines).

3Select based on machine tool accuracy

The accuracy level of the machine tool should be determined based on the machining accuracy requirements of the key parts being processed. Linear positioning accuracy, repeated positioning accuracy, and milling accuracy are the three indicators for evaluating the accuracy of CNC machine tools. In general, the linear positioning accuracy of ordinary CNC milling machines and machining centers is ± 0.01mm throughout the entire process, the repeated positioning accuracy is ± 0.006mm, and the circular accuracy of milling machines is 0.03-0.04mm. The precision machining center has a linear positioning accuracy of ± 0.005mm, a repeated positioning accuracy of ± 0.002mm, and a milling accuracy of 0.02mm.
