Adjustment method: Adjust the accurate relative position of machine tool, fixture, cutter and workpiece in advance to ensure the dimensional accuracy of workpiece.




The size shall be adjusted in place in advance. During the machining process, the mechanical processing plant does not need to cut again, and the dimensions will be automatically obtained and remain unchanged during the processing of a batch of parts. For example, when using a milling fixture, the position of the tool depends on the blade.



The essence of the adjustment method is to use the fixed distance device or pre completed tool holder on the machine tool to achieve a certain position accuracy of the tool, and then process a batch of workpieces.




This is also an adjustment method for cutting on the machine tool based on the dial. This method requires determining the scale on the dial based on the trial cutting method. In large-scale production, tool devices are mainly adjusted using fixed distance blocks, samples, samples, etc.




Trial cutting method: Trial cut a small part of the machined surface, measure the trial cutting size, and adjust the position of the tool on the workpiece according to the machining requirements by the mechanical processing factory. Then, trial cut and measure again. After two or three trial cuts and measurements, when the machining dimensions meet the requirements, cut the entire surface to be machined.




The trial cutting method involves trial cutting, measurement, adjustment, and repeated trial cutting until the required dimensional accuracy is achieved.




The trial cutting accuracy may be high and does not require complex equipment, but this method is time-consuming (requiring multiple adjustments, trial cutting, measurements, calculations), inefficient, and depends on the technical level of workers and the accuracy of measurement equipment. The quality is unstable and is only used for small batch production.




As a trial cutting cooperation method, it is a method based on machining parts, which processes another workpiece or combines two (or more) workpieces together. The requirements for machining dimensions shall be based on the requirements for machining parts.
