The manufacturing position of vertical machining centers in the aviation manufacturing industry is particularly important. The data acquisition system is a component of the front terminal system and key components of the machine tool monitoring system. The design effect of the data acquisition system determines the effective performance of the vertical machining center monitoring system.

The self diagnosis function can not only display fault alarm information on the CRT display, but also provide machine tool parameters and status information in the form of multi page "diagnostic address" and "diagnostic data". Common data and status checks include parameter checks and interface checks.

Interface inspection refers to the input and output interface signals between the system and the machine tool, including the interface input and output signals between the vertical machining center system and PLC, as well as between PLC and the machine tool. The input and output interfaces of the CNC system can display the status of all switch signals on the CRT display, using "1" or "0" to indicate the presence or absence of signals. The status display can be used to check whether the vertical machining center system has output signals to the machine side, and whether the switch signals on the machine side have been input to the vertical machining center system, so as to locate faults on the machine side or in the system.

Parameter inspection of machine tool data is an important parameter obtained through a series of experiments and adjustments, which is a guarantee for the normal operation of the machine tool. These data include gain, acceleration, contour monitoring tolerance, reverse clearance compensation value, lead screw pitch compensation value, etc. When subjected to external interference, data loss and chaos may occur, and the machine tool may not function properly.

Castings in vertical machining centers require tempering

Why do the castings used in the gantry machining center still require tempering treatment? Because steel is a widely used material in the mechanical industry, and steel fibers have a complex structure that can be controlled through heat treatment, the heat treatment of steel is the main operating process of metal heat treatment. In order to meet the mechanical, physical, and chemical performance requirements of castings in the gantry machining center, in addition to reasonable material selection and various forming processes, heat treatment processes must also be carried out. In addition, materials such as aluminum, magnesium, and copper can also change their mechanical, physical, and chemical properties through heat treatment, thereby achieving different performance in use.

Their characteristic is to improve the internal quality of cast iron platforms and gantry machining center castings. As a type of large castings, they must undergo aging treatment to improve their overall performance and quality. The bed castings, bed columns, and machine tool workbenches have four basic heat treatment processes: annealing, normalizing, quenching, and tempering. The bed castings of the gantry machining center should strictly follow the tempering process during the tempering process

During the process, support columns should be added to the ribs or areas that are prone to deformation to avoid deformation and fracture caused by tempering temperature. The temperature calculation of the quenching and tempering furnace should be the responsibility of a dedicated person and the temperature should be controlled in a timely manner to avoid the significant impact of high or low temperature on the quenching and tempering workpiece.

During the overall heat treatment, the metal heat treatment process involves heating the integral gantry machining center such as cast iron flat plates, cast iron bent plates, etc., and cooling them at an appropriate speed to change the overall mechanical properties of cast iron platforms, flat plates, cast iron bent plates, or machine bed castings.
