What are the methods of CNC machining technology for aluminum alloys?

Time:2023-06-13 Preview:

1、 Die cold pressing is a special finishing rolling die. By strictly controlling the limited cold forming, the residual stress of aluminum alloy forgings with complex shapes is eliminated. When the die is pressed, the completion of punching is embedded in the slope of the end face and edge zone (ribs) of the figure. Aluminum alloy forging releases residual stress in certain parts of the aluminum alloy forging and increases residual stress in other parts;

2、 Mechanical stretching is the application of a certain amount of tensile plastic deformation in the rolling direction of quenched aluminum alloy plates, causing the tensile stress to overlap with the original quenching residual stress, resulting in plastic deformation and relief of residual stress;

3、 Eliminating aging is a traditional method for reducing quenching residual stress. Due to the high sensitivity of aluminum alloys, especially aviation aluminum alloys, to temperature, the strength index will significantly decrease with the increase of aging temperature. The aging treatment after quenching is generally carried out at a lower temperature, which affects the stress relief effect;
